Mitsubishi FR-A740-00470-EC Variable Frequency Drive for FREQROL FR Series

The Mitsubishi FR-A740-00470-EC (FR-A740-00470-EC) is an industrial variable frequency drive belonging to the Mitsubishi Electric FREQROL FR series. Engineered for advanced speed and torque regulation, this genuine Mitsubishi inverter drive delivers reliable motor control across automated production machinery and drive systems. The unit functions by modulating input frequency and voltage to drive three-phase induction and synchronous electric motors, enabling smooth acceleration, deceleration, and operational stability. Now discontinued and designated as a legacy component, this drive serves as a direct replacement part to maintain continuous factory operations without redesigning established drive cabinets. Designed for integration into Mitsubishi industrial drive architectures, the FR-A740-00470-EC operates within demanding industrial environments requiring robust process control. Typical applications include conveyor lines, pumps, fans, material handling systems, packaging equipment, and machine tool axes. Its heavy-duty construction and dedicated motor control algorithms ensure consistent torque output and accurate speed tracking under variable load conditions. By maintaining system reliability and providing dependable motor regulation, this FREQROL inverter drive helps minimize downtime and extends the operating lifecycle of legacy industrial installations.
