The Mitsubishi Q02CPU-A is a high-performance central processing unit (CPU) module designed for the MELSEC-Q series programmable logic controller (PLC) platform, specifically engineered for QCPU A-mode operation. This module provides execution of control logic in factory automation and process machinery, bridging legacy MELSEC-A series architectures with the modular MELSEC-Q hardware platform. The Q02CPU-A features a program memory capacity of 28k steps (112 KB) and can control up to 4,096 input/output (I/O) points across local and remote stations. It includes a built-in 9-pin female D-Sub RS-232 serial communication interface for direct programming, peripheral connectivity, and data exchange. The module mounts directly onto a standard MELSEC-Q series base rack backplane and draws 5 V DC operational power from a dedicated Q-series system power supply module.
