Mitsubishi A6CVR-16 Combined Digital I/O Module for MELSEC-F Series

The Mitsubishi A6CVR-16 (A6CVR-16) is a combined digital input and output module designed for use with Mitsubishi Electric MELSEC-F FX series programmable logic controllers. Serving as a mixed I/O expansion unit equivalent to the FX2-64MS, this module provides expanded automation control within a single compact unit. It features a total capacity of 64 I/O points, divided into 32 digital inputs and 32 digital outputs. The 32 input channels operate at a rated supply voltage of 24 V DC to monitor signals from connected field sensors and control devices. The 32 output channels utilize AC triac switching technology, designed to switch alternating current loads in automated industrial machinery. Although discontinued by the manufacturer, this legacy module remains a direct replacement part for maintaining and supporting existing MELSEC-F PLC installations. By combining both DC input sensing and AC triac output driving into one module, it streamlines control cabinet design and maximizes space efficiency in production environments.
