Mitsubishi MDS-E-CV-450 Power Supply Converter Unit for MDS-E Series

The Mitsubishi MDS-E-CV-450 (MDS-E-CV-450) is an AC/DC power supply converter unit designed for use with Mitsubishi MDS-E series multi-axis drive systems and CNC machine tools. Serving as the central DC bus power source, the converter rectifies incoming three-phase AC or direct DC voltage to supply high-performance servo drives and spindle drives within CNC automation environments. This power converter delivers a rated output capacity of 37 kW with a continuous rated output current of 198 A. It operates on an input supply voltage of 200 to 240 V AC in the 200 V class at 220 or 230 V AC nominal, accepting three-phase AC input or direct DC input. The unit outputs a stabilized DC bus voltage between 270 and 324 V DC to drive interconnected MDS-E axis modules. Built for demanding industrial enclosures, the module features an IP20 degree of protection and is rated to operate reliably within an ambient operating temperature range from 0 to +55 degrees Celsius.
