Mitsubishi SC-E5EW-S3M-MV Shielded Cat 5e Ethernet & CC-Link Cable, 3 m

The Mitsubishi SC-E5EW-S3M-MV is a 3 m (9 ft) shielded Cat 5e Ethernet and CC-Link cable from the SC-E5EW series. It is a flexible, double-shielded STP straight cable intended for indoor movable field-device installations where cable movement and strong noise immunity are required. The cable contains eight wires arranged as four twisted pairs. Its double shield combines aluminum/polyester tape with a tin-plated annealed copper braid, helping suppress external noise and EMI when several cables are laid together. The flame-retardant PVC jacket has a finished outside diameter of 6.5 mm on this MV variant. Shielded RJ-45 connectors are wired straight for direct device connection. The cable conforms to IEEE 802.3 1000BASE-T, ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B Category 5e and ISO/IEC 11801, and supports Ethernet and CC-Link communication in CC-Link IE Field and TSN network environments. Typical applications include connecting indoor field devices, PLCs and other CC-Link IE equipment in machine and factory automation systems. It is equivalent to SCE5EWS3MMV.
