Product Description

The Mitsubishi SC-E5EW-S25M-MV (SC-E5EW-S25M-MV) is a 25 m (82 ft) Category 5e double-shielded Ethernet cable from the SC-E5EW series, designed as an indoor field-device cable and cordset for Ethernet and CC-Link communication. It is equivalent to SCE5EWS25MMV. It is a flexible straight cable with eight wires arranged as four twisted pairs, an aluminum/polyester tape and tin-plated annealed copper wire braid double shield, and shielded RJ-45 straight connectors. The cable is 1000BASE-T compliant and conforms to IEEE 802.3, ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B Category 5e and ISO/IEC 11801, supporting reliable data transmission in electrically noisy control environments. The -MV variant has a flame-retardant PVC sheath with a finished outside diameter of 6.5 mm and is intended for indoor movable installation areas, with a 25 m length available within the series' 1 m to 45 m range for this variant. It is commonly used to connect field devices, PLCs and network equipment in Mitsubishi MELSEC and CC-Link IE systems. The double shield helps protect high-speed Ethernet signals from external noise, making the cable suitable for machine control, production equipment and other factory-floor network wiring where a durable, shielded Cat 5e assembly is required.
