Mitsubishi SC-E5EW-S13M Cat 5e Shielded Ethernet Cable for MELSEC PLCs and CC-Link IE TSN

The Mitsubishi SC-E5EW-S13M (SC-E5EW-S13M) is a 13 m (42 ft) Category 5e shielded Ethernet cable and cordset for indoor field devices and control-cabinet wiring. It is part of the SC-E5EW series, is equivalent to SCE5EWS13M, and provides Ethernet and CC-Link communication capability for MELSEC PLC systems and CC-Link IE TSN or CC-Link IE Field networks. The cable is a double-shielded STP straight cable with eight wires arranged as four twisted pairs. Its shielding combines aluminum/polyester tape with a tin-plated annealed copper braid, while the flame-retardant PVC jacket has a finished outside diameter of 6.8 mm. Shielded RJ-45 connectors are straight-wired, and the assembly conforms to IEEE 802.3 1000BASE-T, ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B Category 5e and ISO/IEC 11801. The 13 m length falls within the 1 m to 45 m range specified for indoor movable installations and suits connections between PLCs, network devices and field equipment in factory automation systems.
