Bonitron M3420B Braking Module

The Bonitron M3420B (M3420B) is an industrial braking module designed for use with variable frequency drives and industrial motor drive systems. In high-inertia or rapid deceleration applications, AC drives generate regenerative energy back to the direct-current bus. The M3420B dynamic braking unit monitors the DC bus voltage and diverts excessive kinetic energy to external dynamic braking resistors, protecting connected drive electronics from overvoltage faults and ensuring controlled stopping performance.
