Mitsubishi AY80EP Programmable Logic Controller CPU for MELSEC-F FX3S Series

The Mitsubishi AY80EP (AY80EP) is an entry-level programmable logic controller central processing unit designed for MELSEC-F FX3S series industrial control systems. Equivalent to the FX3S-30MR/ES-2AD, this compact PLC unit incorporates 32 total integrated inputs and outputs, comprising 16 digital 24 V DC sink/source inputs, 14 normally open relay digital outputs rated for 2 A at 240 V AC or 30 V DC with a 10 ms response time, and 2 analog inputs offering a 0 to 10 V DC range with 10-bit conversion. The unit features a program memory capacity of 4,000 steps stored in EEPROM and supports up to 30 I/O connection points. Communication and programming are facilitated through an integrated USB connector as well as an RS-422 interface, with physical I/O wired via screw terminal connections. Operating on an AC supply voltage of 100 to 240 V AC (120, 208, 220, or 230 V AC), the controller is designed for DIN rail mounting with a 100 mm width. It provides a reliable control solution for small-scale automation and machine control applications.
